How Many Is Too Many?
I watched an episode of Clean Sweep this weekend where a woman was forced to face her many unfinished projects and all the stuff associated with them all. The "organizer" on the show facilitated a discussion between the woman and her husband where they reached agreement on how many projects she could have working at once. (She started with 9-10, and agreed finally on 3-4.)
That got me thinking about how many projects I like to have going at once, and how many is too many. And, mostly, I'm curious about how many is too many for my blogging friends.
Right now, I have two quilting projects in the works. Two is good for me. If I get bored with one, I can turn to the other. Plus, one is a project that I can work on in front of the TV, while the other keeps me married to the sewing machine. My hand quilting project is so close to done, that I don't dare start anything else right now, for fear of never getting back to it and finishing. So, it looks like two is my number.....right now, anyway.
How about you?

Let's see ... I have one knitting project, which I have started four times now (but finally am doing well on it), two blogs (one too many I'm sure but the jury is out on that), one parish group I help with (Christ Renews His Parish), one prayer group, one Catholic women's book club ... you know a lot of "ones" add up to a bunch of stuff! I'm pretty good at pruning but so far I am handling it ok...

i have at least three quilt tops that need to be pinned...one hand-quilting project that has been a project for what, five years now? (and it is really beautiful, too - i should be shot for not finishing it and hanging it up somewhere)...i have a few more sets of rosary beads to work on...journaling projects...and an unfinished essay my english professor wanted me to finish to try to have published.
other than that, not too much :)
