Before and After

I've made it a habit to take pictures of my handcrafts. Recently, I learned an important lesson: take the picture before, not after, it passes to the hands (or, in this case, paws) of the lucky recipient.

I embarked on two quick and mindless knitting projects this week: cat toys. The one on the left is a yet-to-be-played with "eggroll", and the one on the right is a rapidly well-used "wonton". (At one time it actually did resemble a wonton!)

They're stuffed with catnip, which made them both an instant hit with the two four-legged creatures in our house.
