Merry Christmas Eve Eve
It's the night before the night before Christmas, and all through the house....we're trying our best to get ready for the holiday. I'm making a last minute gift: a sheer sash curtain for my sister-in-law's front door. The fabric is very, very slippery. I hope and pray this thing will turn out to be something that at least resembles straight. We'll see!
Tomorrow the sun will come up and we'll hear a phrase that absolutely sends shivers: It's Christmas Eve Day.
What's with that? It simply doesn't make sense. It's December 24th...all day. That, my friends, is the Day Before Christmas! When the sun goes down and evening begins, guess what? It's Christmas Eve. On the morning of the 25th, would you say Christmas Night Day? Of course not! It's Christmas Morning!
So, on this, the night before the night before Christmas, it's Christmas Eve Eve. And, I suppose that's technically correct!
Cheers!
