Happy Independence Day!
This beautiful flag quilt was created by Karin in memory of NYFD firefighters who lost their lives on Sept. 11th. She presented it as a gift to her local fire department. Check out her quilt gallery. Lovely.
She also has a recipe for kolachy. I haven't had that in years! Looks yummy.

Gorgeous quilt ... and I love kolache which we can get easily in central Texas as there was quite a little colony of Czechs who lived there. One of my favorite "landmarks" to drive by is the "Czech Stop" where they will sell you, of course, fresh kolaches. :-)
