A Stitcher's Distraction

This is Cisco. He's the reason I haven't been blogging...quilting...or knitting...as much as I'd like.
He's a 2-year-old kitty who thinks he's a retriever. His pink foam golf ball is his prized possession. If you throw it, he'll retrieve it. And, he'll want to do it again, and again, and again. When he's in the mood to play fetch, he'll come find you -- pink foam ball in tow. He'll drop the ball at your feet, and pester you until you play.
It seems that every time I sit down to blog or stitch Cisco isn't far behind. Pitter patter. He's in the room. Plunk! The ball is at my feet. Head butt on my ankles. The Merry Stitcher is distracted. I pick up the ball. The game is on. My projects go unattended.
When I tell people I have a cat that fetches, they don't seem to believe me. During a recent stitching distraction, I decided to photograph the evidence.
Here's the proof!

Our kitty will shake hands to get us to turn the water on for her in the sink. (results of a 5th grade science fair experiment that was never allowed to die).
