First, A Bit of History

Every quilt has a story, and The Great DWR of 2005 is no exception. Before diving in and creating the story of creating this quilt, I thought I'd look back at the history of this historical quilt pattern.

Here's a quick look at the romantic past of this popular quilt pattern. According to quilting legend, this pattern is not for the quilting novice. With just a half dozen or so quilts under my belt, I'm definitely still a newbie.
