Merry Stitching Christmas!

It's all done. Any stitching I do between now and the holidays will be purely recreational. Actually, I'm looking forward to several hours on the plane this week. I'll plug in my ipod and go to town on long-neglected sweater #2.

There are a couple of completed items I can't show just now, since it could just be that the recipients periodically peruse this blog. However, I can tell you about three scarves that are hot off the needles. I did them for three co-workers out of mostly stash yarn. (OK, I bought a little.) Anyway, I think the packaging is the most fun.

I had a bunch of holiday "window bags", with Christmas tree cutouts. The bags are made for cookies and such. I stuffed a scarf in each bag, and viola! They look quite festive and have far fewer calories than a bag of holiday sweets.
